Music @ Central

Worship is a time for our church family to join together corporately, to praise and honor God, to give thanks and offerings of ourselves, to confess and repent, and to learn about how to better follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.  At Central Christain Church we come together each Sunday to gather the strength needed to reach and minister to all people in the world.

Music at Central Christian takes many forms.  There are several ensembles that aid in worship, including Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, Children’s Choir, and Worship Band.  Within these groups, we use a wide variety of music, including modern, traditional, instrumental and vocal to help glorify the Lord.

Chancel Choir

The CCC Chancel Choir is the adult sanctuary choir.  This is a non-auditioned group consisting of all ages.  We view the role of the choir as enhancing worship through the gift of music.  We strive for musical excellence, while also striving to be ministers to the congregation through song.  If you love to sing, and enjoy fellowship, stop by the choir room on Wednesdays to recharge your soul and help add to the church’s worship experience on Sundays.

Handbell Choir

Handbell Choir meets periodically through the year in order to practice for worship service.  We are a small choir, always on the look-out for potential members to help us grow.  If you can tell your right hand from your left, count to four (or eight) and recognize two to four notes, you are more than qualified to come join us.
