Richard Roland, Senior Minister

Richard grew up in Menphis, TN.  He attended Memphis University and is a graduate of Transylvania University and Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, KY.  He has served pastorates in Kentucky, Florida, Indiana, and Texas.  He as also served on the staffs of the Pension Fund and the National Evangelistic Association of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Richard was Senior Minister of Central Christian Church in Waco, from 1994 to 1998 and then retired, with his wife
Jean, in Waco.  He came back to the Central staff in 2007 as Acting, Interim Minister.  He is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  He and Jean, now retired from Baylor University, enjoy time with their five children and ten grandchildren in Waco; Woodstock, GA; Baton Rouge, LA; Westfield, IN, and Lubbock, TX.  rhrol@aol.com

Kristin Jack, Associate Minister of Christian Education

Kristin grew up attending Central Christian Church, but moved to Fort Worth in 1993, to attend TCU where she earned a degree in Special Education.  After several years of teaching full time and also doing part-time youth ministry at both inner-city Fort Worth churches and Mid-Cities Disciples of Christ Churches, she accepted a call to full-time youth ministry at University Christian Church in Fort Worth, TX, where she spent nearly five years.  Kristin is a Licensed Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest Region.  Now that she's back at Central, since August 2007, she feels like she is definitely home.  Kristin works with all areas of Christian Education.  She has been married to Justin since 2000, and they have a 3 year old daughter, Savannah Grace,a new baby boy, Carter Logan (born December 2008), and two dogs, Canyon & Dexter.  She loves cooking, scrapbooking and photography, travel and music.  kristin@cccwaco.org

Sharon Epp, Noah's Ark Preschool & Parents' Day Out Director

Sharon began working at Central in February 1992, as the three year old teacher.  She then became the director of the school in January 1994.  She has received the National Administrator Credential, MusicGarten Certificate: The Cycle of Seasons and Music Makers at Home in the World, and serves on the Smart Start Child Care Association Board.  She is married with three children.  In her spare time, Sharon is a Southern Living At Home Consultant, enjoys jogging, sewing and photography. cccpdo@yahoo.com
